KÄSI FARMS
Quaker family running a biodynamic farm and Waldorf homeschool from a cabin located in the forest of Northern Michigan. Käsi brings together the practices of biodynamic farming, outdoor education, cooking with whole foods, and healing with plants. Our lifestyle is influenced by the specific aspects of each season, and the content available to monthly members is produced accordingly.
CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT
Crystal Mountain is the Midwest's premier four-season, family resort. Located in northwest lower Michigan, Crystal Mountain is a family-owned ski, golf and spa resort, 28 miles southwest of Traverse City.
Crystal Mountain features 59 downhill slopes, 36 holes of championship golf, 25km of cross-country skiing, 250+ guest rooms, the award-winning Crystal Spa, Michigan Legacy Art Park, and top notch conference facilities. Amenities include an award-winning golf school, restaurants, indoor pool, fitness center, outdoor pool and water playground, Michigan's only alpine slide, rope and zip line course, climbing wall, mountain biking, tennis courts, disc golf, retail shops and more.
LOST LAKE FARMS
Lost Lake Farm is a small family farm located just north of Honor, Michigan; owned and operated by husband and wife team Nathan Cornell and Carissa Savage. We provide a diverse array of delicious, naturally grown vegetables. We follow organic growing practices, improving our soil with compost, minerals, and cover crops; and never using synthetic chemicals in our farming.
We also offer pasture-raised pork. Our pigs are always treated with respect, given non-GMO feed, and are free from antibiotics and hormones. Our animals play an integral part in our farm, helping us fertilize our pastures, and eating our excess or imperfect produce.
YELLOW DOG CAFE
Bonnie Mcphedran, moved to Onekama full time after being an annual visitor from Chicago in 2015. After finding a location in downtown Onekama, Bonnie opened Yellow Dog Cafe in 2016. That first year the team was composed of Bonnie and one other staff member, in 2022 the Cafe opens seasonally, May to November, with four team members.
OLIVER ART CENTER
The purpose of the Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts is to maintain an educational program and facility for the advancement of the arts. The Art Center also works to promote and develop the visual, performing, culinary, and literary arts in Benzie County and the surrounding area.
